AES "Arklay EMERGENCY Services" has been here since the beginning, and long before I took lead it was more than it is now and I would love to see it come back to what it once was. It will take some work and the help of the people of Arlay but I think it can be done.
AES was the central location for all emergency services of Arklay: Medical - Police - Fire (EMT). I was not here at the time but have been told about it and think we could bring that back. Medical we have handled and we have the shelter here but I think we can add the others back just as easy.
Police/Law: Has not much of a presence on the sim as of late and we need this. OB needs both the good and the bad, without one it is hard to have the other. I would love to see this inside the police/law of Arklay, a bit of corruption (a lil corruption never hurt no one, or did it? 😉 Police can be either/or Keepers/Rebels. Good cops = Keepers / Bad cops = Rebels or neither just townies/neutral. We already have the cells in the hospital so I really do think this would be great to bring it back here. For people returning back to Arklay after a long time away, they are unsure what happened. Even Kays backstory would fit her working along side with law enforcement. We would start this out slow, AES currently has security, and we would build this into a larger force extending patrol into the town of Arklay in the coming months working with those who already help keep Arklay safe.
Fire/EMT more or less paramedics and these just go along with the medical part and we do have the group tag and have some doing this job. They are first responders and always ready to treat someone in need. So this is still there in a way. But who wouldn't want to see some cute firefighters on sim too? I am sure they left behind their hardhats and gear.
Kay as lead over the hospital would put someone in charge of the law and the fire dept. They would have their crews, but all fall under the AES family. I believe this would bring great RP to the hospital and to OB as a whole.
I was also thinking. What if the towns people (whom ever this would be, from which ever group) finds a bell or restores one already here? That would be a form of alerting everyone in-case of emergency. It should be located in a central location and when rang AES and whoever else would come running. Maybe even have a signal for how many rings for where/what is wrong.
Another thing, sorry to make this so long and bring up so many things just wanting to get this all out (and it's not really all the ideas lol) but I want to add a lab to the hospital in one of the empty rooms, I have talked to the staff about this (some of them) and just want to say if this works what I have in mind.
LAB: I would love to have a room for a lab, anyone who has RPed at the hospital as staff or a patient you know we send off to the lab all the time, so would be nice to have a lab. Our lab in the basement was blown up some months back and a makeshift one was put back to replace it. So any spare room would work for this. How I would like to use the lab? OOC I would not only want it used for our routine lab work and making meds we can but also cooking up narcotics such as meth and even something else I have in mind and hope to bring to the sim (will have to wait for that in RP tho 😉 )) So if we did have this going, we could have some people cooking and dealing up some stuff behind the Docs back.
