Day 1

There's been an odd calm on the island the last few days.... there are few animal noises, little wind, though the presence of the infected has grown considerably, and they seem agitated.

The calmness continues throughout the day, although in the distance black clouds can be spotted, flashes of lightning seem to be apparent, waves in the ocean seem to be growing in size and moving away from the clouds.  It starts to rain over Arklay and the wind starts to steadily pick up as the thunderheads get closer.
