Hisashi Kuroba

said

Hisashi Kuroba is a Japanese survivor after the infection spread across Japan.
He is a bushido practitioner and a forest and mountain trained survivalist.

Hisashi comes from an old traditional family that carries the torch of training in survival and martial arts as his grandfather believed heavily that the cold war would come again and bring an end to the world as we know it. While he wasn't exactly right, the world did come to an end of sorts.

Called the Raven by other survivors due to the raven that is patched into the shoulders of his cloak, Hisashi survived the outbreak in Japan by avoiding other people and any area where people gathered. Keeping to himself and moving quickly and quietly through wooded areas until he reached the coast.  He had grown a distaste for firearms as he made his escape, as he noticed that the loud sound caused by firing attracts more infected, doing more harm then good.

Hisashi had drifted at sea for 18 days before finally being pushed into the bay of Arklay. Now he sticks to the shadows of the island, waiting to learn more about the people who live there.
