HEADER NOTES: 98.6 fm The Fever - The only functional, current radio channel on Arklay Island, The Fever is here to bring you those classic pre-Outbreak tunes we all love and remember. Situated in the old radio tower beside The Eights apartment complex, The Fever is here to bring you news from around the island, as well as across that caustic mainland across the pond.

The Rot - Working hand in hand with 98.6 fm - The Fever, The Rot is the second half of that unstoppable machine of truth seekers. The Rot is bi-monthly newspaper article based out of Arklay Island. Fighting the good fight, The Rot brings you the big headlines and news stories from all over the Wasteland! Readers can expect interviews with town residents and local businesses, caravans and traders alike.

OUR MISSION: Through a combined effort of radio and newspaper media, editors and DJ's of The Fever & The Rot have committed themselves to the pursuit of the truth, this coupled with news stories from around Arklay Island and that big Wasteland beyond, whether you're interested in staying up to date on all the top stories or you're simply in it for those nostalgic tunes from before the world took a shit on itself, The Fever & The Rot is here for you!

IC SERVICES PROVIDED: • A radio station complete with pre-outbreak music and charismatic host DJ's • Newspaper articles released a minimum of twice a month. • An additional outlet for advertisement - Businesses, etc. • Interviews with local businesses and influential townsfolk. • A means of employment for those interested in being reporters and radio hosts!

EXPERIENCE:The business's sole purpose is to help promote roleplay and strengthen immersion on SIM. By creating a newspaper and IC radio station, it will help promote activity for the local businesses and groups on SIM as well as promote roleplay and create a reinforce a sense of immersion for players in the community. In addition, it provides a new means of employment that has not yet been available on the SIM.
