I’m not sure how we found our way here, but at least it’s somewhere with people for a change. Dad’s dead, but Missy, Luckie, and I somehow managed to make it with most of our pieces intact. This cut on my legs hurts like hell; I managed to forage some Lady’s Mantle and stopped the bleeding for now. Maybe I can finally put my skills to use, rumor has it there’s a hospital of sorts here, could be a good place to start settling in. First things first, a roof over my head, someone said there’s a place called the Eights, could be good, could be not, only time will tell.
