A bit more maybe about those roles, which though also counts for factions/businesses:

In my past I had played in groups of ancient savages. Several players always wanted to be e.g. “Scout” of the group, meaning to go to other places and spy on them. In groups in which that was allowed, it created always drama if another went to another place and,…[Read more]

That precise topic is the issue in EVERY post apo sim I have been playing in. It is based on a few factors that appear in most players no matter how good players they claim to be:

People do not want to face disadvantages to their own characters, nothing with that their char…[Read more]

Addition:

Another point is that the chaos in guns/ammo is really confusing meanwhile. For a time pistols were sold. Now it was told that those seem to be broken. Back then my char was not meant to have a gun, now my char is, but no guns are sold anymore, only ammo. But as guns/ammo were already sold together for a while, I have no way to tell…[Read more]

So as we talk always about the need to do all IC, by interaction, that exactly is the reason why it concerns me. How would it be plausible that, after Epsilon initially confiscated all weapons/ammo (except for fighter class chars) in the area, so much that no one may enter with a weapon and even less ammo, that suddenly another group has access to…[Read more]

Not saying this personally against Rico Treves who had this idea initially, and I usually do not object to any business suggestion. But I really am convinced that meanwhile time has proven more than enough, with Epsilon failing, the Gun Runners failing, that Gun trade in Outbreak will not work, no matter how or who has a monopoly on it.
