Had a couple experiences with HUD combat lately. Found a few bugs to report.

  • Attacking someone with a melee weapon forces the defender to always use a ranged weapon, even when none are equipped.
  • Defender ALWAYS wins. ALWAYS.
  • The HUD does not recognize when a gun is not equipped. It assumes you're using the last equipped range weapon. This assumption is made when attacking with a ranged weapon, when none are equipped, or when forced to use a range weapon to defend yourself (and no range weapon is equipped.)
  • Damage, regarding range weapons, does not seem to be factored in when determining a loss of wellness. This was observed when using a Remington 870 shorty and SIG P226
