From the notebook of Serena Cole: Jim and I are hanging around on the edge of this little town on the island of Arklay. I don’t know if it’ll be any safer or better than the other places we’ve seen, but I’m sure praying it is, although I’m beginning to wonder if anyone is listening to prayers these days. Anyway, we’ll watch and try to get a feel for things and then depending on what we see maybe…hopefully find some other folks and be able to stay put for awhile.
