There are some palms that are cold weather hardy. I can understand the need not to have them at all. They would be rare, but not impossible.
Tree sap and syrup would be great!

Fish, mussels, clams, seaweed and other sea vegetables, sea lions, sea gulls, sea urchins, palm tree fruit, etc. Tons of things that could be gathered from the tide pools to eat, sell and trade. What about scavenging on the beach for material things (jewelry for example, or…[Read more]

Another Noob here.
Yes, the care package didn’t work, I had nothing except $21, which didn’t even buy an apple.
I also agree for the meter to be full-up when you start so that you have time to get acclimated to the sim for a day or so before you become in desperate straights again.
