Abbie sighs and climbs off the roof, making sure  she had everything ready and on hand for this.  Mentally putting herself in that mindset to see mainland again.  Last she saw it was bad, but now going back out there.  Probably much worse now and more danger  than when she trekked out and came to the island.

Abbie actually grins, BOOTS!  She actually got boots!
