My point wasn’t that you cannot get these thing in OB at all.  Anybody can go on a run and find toothpaste if that is the goal. But a great many things can be made from plants that grow native to California. Seems like a great idea to me.  It might give new people a fighting chance in the beginning if they didn’t want to settle for one particular faction or If they needed help in general.
