IC Backstory:

When the world is dark, heroes don't come in white, shining armor. It takes a certain savagery to survive times like those that have befallen those left in the world of Contagion. Some realize that savagery has always existed. Always ruled us. It was in the government. The communities we lived in. In our homes. When shit hit the fan it was clear that there was only so much time to make sure the balance of power didn't tip towards those believed to have aided in the creation of the disease. Individuals saw this opportunity to denounce any they perceived as governing authority and began to try and lay claim on what precious resources were left on the island. Small and unorganized, those that believed Out of the ashes of the old world will rise a new world order where only the strong survive and politicians are forbidden would become stronger as refugees from the mainland made it to the island. These opportunists detest what remains of civilization as well as anyone who represents the old world style of oppression. They believe they are the heroes that will say whats left of the world from getting lost in the chaos

They currently have lay claimed to part of the resort and marina, making them the sole provider of fuel. Its gives them power, but without medical supplies, food, and weapon resources they have found themselves willing to make unlikely alliances. For now.

They remain in plainclothes and without a name. The only figurehead seeks to find a true leader that can socialize their view to those survivors caught in the middle. They see this island as theirs and will fight to keep it in their control.

OOC comments:
We want this group to grow organically. No leaders have been picked. No name. Its a sim run faction, but its purpose is to be molded by the players. A leader will be picked through roleplay and ooc involvement in helping to get this group going. Have ideas? Want to tweak the backstory? Want to be involved?
