It was one of those days, where my cravings were going nuts, and so I went on the prowl looking to feed my addicition. On the way past a garage I noticed there had been possible signs of life, and this means they might have supplies. When I entered the garage I could hear the angelic music as there stood before me in all its glory, a vending machine. I went to work on it, with my screwdriver and crowbar. I nearly frightened the wits out of Gil who had been standing outside, and drew attention to every skinnie half amile around, but I also drew the attention to a big big guy. He came at me with the angriest face I have ever seen, hand on his hammer, demanding to know what I had taken, as he stepped closer to me he growled and towered above me. Just when I thought I was going to die, his manner changed and suddenly he laughed, he like me was simply scavaging.
Chuck was a big big man with a big bushy beard, scary looking, but he wasnt as he looked, granted he had a past , a damm scary past at that, but he showed me the days of chivalry was not dead, he offered to walk me home. I in return gave him food and herbal tea. A new friend and Ally. When I told Michael and Jim and Serena, they almost passed out when I reitterated Chucks past, and the fact I was alone with him, but as I said he wasn’t as he seemed. I realized then, how wrong it is to judge someone by their looks alone. That in itself can be your downfall, underestmating someone by how they look…
Peace out
