Name: Sydney ‘Sid’ Fairport

Born:  01/12/1988, Ontario Canada
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 164lbs
Hair: Raven Black
Eyes: Green
Background: African and Canadian
Orientation: Straight

Backstory:

Sid grew up in a household of four brothers and one sister, her father was an extremely religious Albertan native who met her African mother during a missionary trip to Congo. Though their worlds were different their love was felt every day and expressed to their children. She was the more experimental child of the bunch, always going off and exploring on her own or attempting to find new usages for things. She was more of a tomboy though her beauty made it hard for her to connect with boys growing up, either they were too shy or imitated by her. She would hang out with her brothers a lot, spending nights watching Man vs Wild and finding Bear Grylls completely insane yet courageous at the same time. She was a track star in high school and was able to achieve a scholarship to University to study Social Work. After graduation she found a hard time finding steady work in downtown Toronto, however one of her friends in the States had gotten back in contact with her and suggested that she come down and visit the area as she may be able to help set her up with a job.

Once she came down and got settled, she worked with a few passionate youth workers to build and open a Christian Youth Center specializing in after school and camp programs which she led for about two years. Then the virus occurred seemingly out of nowhere; she can still remember the day one child came in looking like they had been vomiting blood. One of the councilors had went over to tend to the child and was rewarded with having their palm bit, a chuck of flesh just below the thumb torn off. The panic was unreal and Sydney was only able to contact her family twice after the outbreak was confirmed before communication was cut off. Having lost everyone she knew in town to the virus or an attack and lacking the ability to communicate with her loved ones back home, she disappeared into the woods. Though dangerous she had become familiar with certain things to look out and how to at least not get herself killed. She doesn’t know how she’ll make it back but she knows that as long as she has the cover of the forest, she’ll at least have a part of home with her.

(Cant wait to meet all of you ICly))
