So I’m getting reports from some of the crew about a new little org calling itself Howlies, or Trawlers or something. They howl at each other and I think they attack lone worthless women? I really don’t fucking know. Holly tells me they tried to jump Sugar’s friend from Dark Creed and they failed. Sugar tells me they stalked her home and they bugged out once she caught wind of them. They sound like a bunch of pussies to me. Never met one. Honestly if a group of bandits moved into this town they won’t last long. Majority of the folk here are decent folk and won’t tolerate such bullshit. Jimmy informed me that their Chieftain threatened to lynch the Contractor and she laughed in his face, Jimmy is real fuckin’ pissed about these guys. My assessment is they have small numbers and only go after presumably weak targets. They presumed the contractor and my Sugar are weak targets. Darn. However none of the Rangers had been touched by these morons so they are not our problem at this time. Our primary concerns are keeping our supplies in order for a growing size of  the crew. I’ve decided to name the crew the Arklay Rangers for now. I’ve asked the crew what they want us to be called. The name doesn’t mean anything in particular, it’s just a name that will give us an identifier and give the crew a sense of pride of the comrades and family they build here. I would like for this Howlie thing to gloss over us. Maybe they’ll be smart and see a large force that they can’t tangle with and move on to others in the town. Maybe their just stupid and will have to be handled accordingly. There is no other way around it. There will be blood. I’m not a religious man, but god willing my crew will pull through this. I hope this is the right move. God forgive me for my sins and let my crew survive this. They deserve a future.
