Silvy Deansaid((This is a long time overdue simply cause I did not think to do it. Sorry for the wordy introduction, hope I make it worth the read.)) Few here know her personally. Maybe one or two people know her real name. Many, however, know her Irish temper. She came out of no where for most. Somehow going from lowly scavenger to Manager of Dixons Garage in a short period of time. But where did she come from? How did she end up here? She was a nobody in the start of things. Suffering anxiety and panic attacks, she kept her head down and focused on just surviving the world as it was. She had spent most of her early life doing odd jobs trying to find something she was passionate about. From training dogs, care taking to housecleaning.. She worked hard at those jobs. It wasn't until a bad break-up that she decided to make something of herself. Going back to school while working at a local wally world to support herself. Studying to become a vet-tech was harder than she expected. Learning to dissect animals and pronouncing the proper name of tools and diseases was tough, but not as tough as the tests. Do to her anxiety and panic disorder, that became the challenge if she ever planned to make it all the way through. Sadly, she never got to graduate or find out her final scores. Shortly before her finale, a man by the name of Robert Lee drifted over into her lane doing about 70 mph on a curve leading into town. When Silvy opened her eyes she was looking up at the sky from a strange angle in her car. Feeling smaller than normal. The impact on the driver side had decimated the front driver side of the old Buick. The dashboard was shoved up into the windshield and the car was laying on it's belly rather than it's tires. A short trip to the hospital revealed that her left leg hadn't been broken. Her knee was bruised, her hip socket was fractured and her left pelvis wall had been broken into several pieces. Lesson, don't drive with your knee up. After surgery she learned that the man had terminal cancer and was actually on his way to the hospital. He died two weeks later due to cancer, not the accident. Silvy never blamed him. She blamed his family and friends for not taking care of him. She knew what chemo did to a brain, her mother died of cancer only 6 years before. Fast forward through nearly six months of recovery and suddenly an illness breaks out throughout the world. She was hold up at her father's place, unable to walk and do most things for herself. Living out in the country, they were able to see what was going on from a distance. Taking the time to gather supplies and fortify the small two acres of land. Her brother took the opportunity to bring his estranged teenage daughter home to meet the rest of her family. Her mother got sick and died shortly after. The house held up for the most part. Bickering and fighting was to be expected. Silvy spent most of her time trying to get back up on her feet, perhaps getting out of the wheelchair a bit too soon. She would never be able to run comfortably again but at least she would be able to stand and fight. Though she would not be given the opportunity often. No, instead of bringing her along with them on supply runs, her brother and father would make her stay behind to clean the guns and guard the house along with her niece and her brother's dog DeeOhGee. This ended abruptly when people started to raid old farm houses. Especially ones that looked as if they were being held up. Silvy managed to get her niece to safety along with DeeOhGee. Two raiders paid with their lives, one injured and two pissed off. They roughed up her niece some, but DeeOhGee saved her. The raiders, however, wear ill. Her niece became sick shortly after. Meeting up with her brother and father it wasn't long till she took a turn for the worst. Though Silvy wanted to wait, get her medication and help, her brother took it upon himself to end her suffering one night while Silvy slept. The next few months were dismal and depressing. Shifting from camp to camp trying to stay mobile as it seemed people were intent on taking out any form of society that might have been set up.. no matter how small. Only moving into cities and towns at night to search for supplies, helped some. Silvy would wait for her brother and father to clear areas then go in behind them. Loading up a pack for herself and DeeOhGee. Normally this worked well. However when Raiders got involved it became stressful and panic inducing. Not knowing if her brother and father survived until getting a call on the walkie with code names for themselves and places they would frequent. She lost contact during one such mission. Separated by raiders and no contact, she went back to old camps and waited, hoping that perhaps they would come along. However never staying more than a few days because her anxiety and panic convinced her that a few days was long enough. A few months of this became difficult. Having to hunt and feed herself and DeeOhGee wasn't so bad, but the longer time went on without an answer or call from her father and brother, the more she was sure they were dead. Lonely, desperate and afraid, she decided to make the long journey to see if any of her friends survived in California. Finding her way to Arklay through the long tunnel bridge. This is where she met Billias, Darla, Rue, Talla, Abe, and many more who would play an intricate part in her chance for survival. She would only be there a month till she got contact from something or someone encouraging her to go back to the mainland to reunite with her family. Ein, Abe and Darla agreeing to take her with them, not knowing what they would find or how horribly overrun the mainland was with raiders. Traps lay everywhere, including the undead chained together in a morbid attempt to guide people around the city to more traps. Here, Silvy would stumble upon her father's body. Stripped down to near nothing, hands tied behind his back and executed like a common criminal. This is where Silvy dropped her crossbow, and pulled out her gun. The group barely made it out alive. Silvy was sure all of her family was dead, until her walkie sparked up again and a voice claiming to be her brother told her of her father's death. That he himself was stuck on the mainland due to traps and raiders guarding the tunnel and searching for the group that killed two of their own. Silvy waited two weeks, recovering and gathering up supplies to take on the raiders and get her brother back. She couldn't wait any longer and left before her group. Leaving behind a map and instructions on where to find her. Things did not go as planned, though her brother was found under strange circumstances. David told her he lost his walkie to the raiders long before she was contacted. That whomever pretended to be him was more than likely a raider out to trap her. This information rang true, as the voice on the radio never said her real name and parts of the story given of her father's death were clouded with character flaws. He blamed her for getting their father killed.. and even in his rescue, DeeOhGee paid with his life. The Raiders were more pissed than ever. They had managed to catch her while she tried to sneak her brother back to the campsite. Beat and tortured her to get information on Arklay and the people that lived there. Stubborn as always, she refused. Just as one of the raiders had a knife below her left eye, another group came in for the attack. She took this opportunity to escape. Making it back to Arklay and trying to push herself to move past her injuries. Her mental state is on the edge, waiting for someone to push her or pull her back from insanity. Her brother pushing her, Billias' absence pushing her, the Keeper Captain pushing her without knowing. Who will pull or will it be to late?
