It’s been a few days since I could take a pen to paper. Everyone seems to be very kind here. In the little bit of time since coming to the island of Arklay, I have ran into both kind and helpful faces. Managing to finally make my own progress. Scavenging has gotten a bit more difficult, as that seems to be the means of survival for the new ones that have found this place, but even still, finding some helpful items along the way, keeping hold of what I do find along the way for trade as thats a bit part of what i do here now. I just hope that the things I find become helpful not just for my own means, but for someone else should i not be able to make use of them. I can only hope to find out in time how much I can contribute to watching this place grow as we try to make it through each day, one day at a time.
