Okay, so recently I've noticed on OB that there's a lot of people who are... seemingly perfect. Attributes, physically, emotionally, mentally, etc...

STOP IT! We're here to role play as human beings! And humans have flaws! It's getting REALLY exhausting walking around sim seeing flawless people that are perfectly groomed and if they're girls then their makeup is usually done and eyebrows are perfectly waxed and their skin is flawless and if they're men their beards are perfectly and evenly lined up and everyone is equipped with 2585473829 weapons, all of which they are experts at using. Their character's mental and emotional states? Absolutely PERFECT. This apocalypse hasn't affected them at all, even though they've lost their spouse and kids, their dog Charlie, ALL their friends and family, and they've been in the military since they were eighteen and have PTSD, even though they show absolutely no symptoms of having it and never plan on showing any symptoms.

Okay, so maybe all that was a LITTLE bit of an exaggeration, but seriously people! You don't need to be so damn perfect! Dirty yourself up a little bit! Give yourself scars from all this war experience you have and all these fights you've been in! Get some scruffy beards and eyebrows in there! Some old tattered clothes! Skin covered with acne! Dirty gross hair! Maybe you have a deteriorating mental state! Maybe you've become emotionally unavailable and it's hurting all your friendships and any relationships you have! Maybe you have to wear a leg brace for the rest of your life because you were shot in your leg and it never healed right because you couldn't get proper medical attention, being that this is a zombie apocalypse and that is incredibly possible. My point is, don't be afraid to have flaws. Explore. Make your character real. Give them things that REAL people have and experience and deal with every day. None of us are perfect, and we shouldn't try to be. It's not who we're meant to be.

Please tell me your thoughts and discuss it 🙂

it's a crazy, dangerous world out there. It also holds beauty beyond compare... don't dream it, live it, if you dare...
