My first day on the Island and so far just walking around I have run into a few people, none that are willing to talk to strangers it seems. Maybe ill have more luck on my second day. I rummaged through a trash bin and came up empty, I even found a pharmacy or clinic, I couldn’t really tell what exactly it was but I know it will come in handy if I ever get injured. I am attempting to be smart and remember what my Dad taught me, he would be proud that I at least found a water and a place with hopefully some medicine. I also found a vendor selling $20 apples, I almost died when she told me the cost but I only found one bin and it tired me out trying to find food through all the debris and dead animals so I gave in and gave her my money. A tent under an amusement park will have to be my home for the night, I am hoping that since I don’t have any fire I will be okay away from the walkers until day break. First thing in the morning I am going to try and find permanent shelter and some food, the apple isn’t going to hold me for long. I also need a weapon and some more clothes, I got into a fight with a zombie and got a lot of blood on my shirt and a gnarly bruise, luckily the blood isn’t mine, I didn’t win the fight but pretty bad ass for a first timer…
