KalisaidArklay Rebels FOUNDING MEMBERS: Syn Wytchwood, tallahasseez Resident OVERVIEW: NOTE: This application is to reform the defunct Arklay Rebels, but could also work just as well with an entirely newly formed group if this is preferable. The Rebels would be reformed for the purposes of looking after their own and opposing any individual or group seeking to impose upon themselves or Arklay as a whole what they see as undue influence. They are anti-establishment and seek to be able to govern themselves. Through peaceful means such as protest they would fight percieved corruption or the potential for it, and if pushed far enough they would be prepared to stop being peaceful. Aside from their political aim they would support each other so as to avoid being reliant on services such as AES as much as possible. This would include a collective food/water supply, basic medical provision, vigilante justice etc. They see the new world as a "survival of the fittest" sort of scenario, and through working together they aim to be the fittest. The group would not be inherently good or bad. They are simply trying to shape their lives in the way they see fit, with a willingness to fight for that right. POTENTIAL ENEMY: POTENTIAL ENEMIES: Phoenix Collective, AES Security, any person or group trying to police or control them POTENTIAL ALLIES: Likeminded businessses or groups such as the Hounds. EXPERIENCE:I have led RP factions/groups before (a resistance group in Insilico and a gun dealer business in Contagion). I'm active in Outbreak and am the manager at Coach's pub. IDEAS:"Media" campaigns against enemy groups. Radio broadcasts, posters etc. Organised protests. The hope for this would to create RP opportunities for anyone in the sim, not just group members. Potentially any character could be drawn into Arklay's politics if people are being loud enough about it. Building a stock of provisions for members, including any Outbreak commodity items. This encourages members to interact with others in order to obtain items. Vigilante justice. Rebels look out for each other. An attack on one is likely to be taken as an attack on all, which could potentially generate feuds. Perhaps with security groups. Payment offered for specific tasks, either to help the Rebels or to harm others. For example sabotaging a generator. IC events such as a fight club. Kali |
