buffy aurasaidBy niky firanelli FOUNDING MEMBERS: velvetydeath, hunkumbrellasecurityservice OVERVIEW: After the sudden outbreak all the military became sorta like stray cats, although few of them managed to integrate into groups and bands many of them simply couldn't because of their huge social and backgrounds differences, these remaining soldiers were assembled and recruited to form a new band of survivors, called the mercenaries, who like the name says it are soldiers who will fight for any other group that hires them, to protect or to do the dirty work such as assassinations contracts, kidnappings and else. Mainly if not solely motivated by a desire for monetary or material gain the mercenaries greed can sometimes lead some of them to a tragic death that other survivors would avoid with ease by never risking to face it. a business that would align well with the mercenaries is Arms trafficking such as M16A2, Ammunition, Security, devices or traps such as for hunting, they could even provide food if needed as they are good hunters but the food would be deer, bear, or rabbit's meat. things mainly found in the forest POTENTIAL ENEMY: the band can make enemies and allies out of any group since the members can work for opposed factions but the natural enemy of the mercenaries would be raiders who try to steal their stocks and attack their convoys as for allies the band would mainly consider the coachs ( the Pub), the dixons ( the garage ), and of course the the emergency services ( the hospital ) as allies the mercenaries will probably refuse to take any contract that would harm these corporations as all of the bands members enjoy having drinks at their favorite bar and need the garage for their vehicles maintenance and of course need meds to heal their wounds after missions. in fact the band will probably dispatch members (( free of charge )) to protect these groups because the group survival relies on them. EXPERIENCE:I spent a lot of time Roleplaying, over seven years just on Second life thanks to that i was able to Roleplay on many occasions as a leader of many different sort of groups either it is a race or else so i have the basic experience for it, i also believe i got this quality of helping others when they need me, so i do listen to the members problems and try to solve it with them, as i always say your problems are mine too, i am also very active and learn really fast, so if other leaders are willing to teach or help me with anything i won't be a hindrance at all of that i am sure. IDEAS:as for how we plan to engage new players on the sim or who sign up for our band i would say, first we make sure they know what Roleplay is all about. then we see if their backstory and current situation makes them apt to join this kind of group, of course we can provide trainings for who needs/wants. and we will keep our members well informed of everything they need to know, we will mostly encourage survivors to join us and work as a team, we will also help them if they are in need of any kind of support, food, supplies, shelter and hopefully we get the place we deserve on Arklay and help it expand ICily and OOCily "This was never my story. It's yours. Now, don't screw it up, okay? ." |
