OVERVIEW:

About the Band ARC : Azraël's Recon Corps also known as the Scouting Legion, Scout Regiment, Survey Corps, Information Corps, Expedition Squad.

TYPE: Reconnaissance / Scouting , Informations Nexus, Trainings.

From the ashes of a mercenary group that was scattered to the wind, a few souls still carry on their mission which is to eventually destroy the zombies hordes once and for all.

 

Lacking their previous resources this new band has to struggle to survive like every other group, whilst maintaining their mission. The group already contain few scientists such as virologists, as well as paramilitary personal. This Group will be most actively involved in :

•Long and Small Range Information spreading ( inside / outside town ). •Exploration outside the safe zone. ( Scouting / Lookouts ) •Infected capture for later experiments

•Virus and Zombies characteristics study. •Human expansion therefore territory capture

•Regular combat trainings (PVP)

•Engagements with the infected hordes (PVE) ( zombie encounter, strike and survival missions.)

Exploration outside the safe zones

Gathering information about enemy forces and areas outside the town.

The recon corps, will be the first to be alerted of any major incoming threats from outside the town's safe zone, they will alert the town soon after, but they will also fight to buy some time for the everyone to get prepared if necessary.

They will also try to rescue any survivors they find outside the safe borders and bring them back to town, in case they need medical care or a shelter.

Information spreading: The unit set few small radio towers within town and on the borders outside town which allow them to communicate via small Radios.

 

They also have their postman / horseman, that can bring informations from place to place in no time.

 

Territory capture: The unit divisions are in charge of the exploration and the eventual reclamation of human territory from zombie-infested lands through the act of setting up small bases, camps, resupply stations, and extra fortifications in available areas outside the town.

 

Virus subject characteristics study: A more recent unofficial duty has been infected observation and research, a wealth of information has been discovered about the infected to the group members, which will be given to the whole town later on. Their expedition unit use mostly horses as one of the main resources to explore and move, Their stable will include specially-bred horses, These horses are noted to be exceptionally valuable for the group, and bred for great speed, stamina, and calm temperament, they are essential for the most important and distant missions outside the limited safety borders but the group also do walk a lot.

They have Long-Range Scouting Formations and Basic outline of Long Distance Enemy Detection. Developed by the first Commander the key to their formation is zombie avoidance.

 

Because the Scouting Legion Unit cannot afford to fight every zombies hordes they encounter, the entire Legion will be spread out over a large area, maximizing visibility. it was also this same unit who have been laying down resources to seal the remaining broken barricades to prevent more infected from getting inside, after the last huge Raiders attack on town.

 

Flaws : •Membership in ARC is extremely dangerous, Each and every officer and enlisted man, from highest to lowest in rank, lives with the fatalistic knowledge that their next mission may be their last.

 

•ARC does very risky experiments as mentioned, they will be messing with zombies, as test subjects and guinea pigs.

 

•This group will be in the most uncomfortable position financially as they no longer have the resources of the old group.

 

•While most members do not survive their first expedition outside the safety borders, each successive expedition exponentially increases their chances of survival for the next mission.

 

•ARC has the smallest branch of military groups in town in terms of membership, The already limited number of volunteers is made less and less by commonplace deaths and an infamy surrounding the body count that frightens most away from joining.

 

•Since they are constantly fighting on the front lines, its high fatality and low success rate discourages most people from enrolling into the group. As much as known only 2% of the town population is willing to join them.Thus, their Legion suffers a constant personnel shortage.

 

•The group's unit also explored the land, though never got that far yet, Due to the heavy casualties suffered from the infected and the raiders surprise attacks and also the lack of support. Strengths :

 

•The Group will have a well developed Structure.

 

•The members of the ARC will be determined and will mostly be dedicated to the cause of humanity, usually at the cost of their own lives In stark contrast to many other individuals.

 

•There will not be such thing as laziness or incompetence in ARC, and no corruption. •Whether at their headquarters or in battle, members of ARC have no one to depend on but each other, this will build a strong atmosphere of trust in the group, and a general no-nonsense form of honesty among its personnel.

 

•ARC members tell and expect to be told of the truth by their informed superiors, no matter how good or bad it might be.

 

•Prides of the individual members are also very high, as they are aware of not only being very courageous, but whatever progresses, victories mankind gains against the plague are gained at the cost of their lives. and as they boldly go to the realm where most humanity dares not, their pride is rightfully justified.

 

•Despite their small numbers, the discipline and fighting prowess of the ARC unit is regarded as one of the best out of the most known military branches.

 

•There is no class-based segregation between Members, with all ranks sharing equally in the work and dangers.

 

•ARC will have a well-earned reputation for toughness and cool-headed courage in the face of extreme hardship; members will fight on even in the smallest, most isolated of groups.

 

•Members are physically and mentally tough, highly adaptable, and can be counted on not to panic in times of crisis.

POTENTIAL ENEMY: Enemies: The Four will definitely become the arch enemy of this band, once they find out the existence of ARC, since they won't like the way they treat their minions (( THE ZOMBIES )) Also despite being the most sacrificing in terms of the overall quality of its Members Some other groups members dislike ARC, and view them as a waste of resources and due to the group's lack of definite, decisive successes and high losses of lives. Only from few 'supports' does this group still remain intact and protected from the greedy groups and hostile conservatives.

 

Allies: Potential allies would be ATC, the dixon's Garage, and/or any other group who wish to contribute or cooperate with ARC in any possible way, can become a direct ally of this band.

EXPERIENCE:I've been on the SIM for a good while, so i had all the time i needed to learn it's rules, and see what it has and what it lacks. I am an Active and Seasoned Rper, enough to have a good leadership assets, also dedicated, and reliable whether it is OOCily or IC, very resourceful for a team roleplay. What i want to achieve is create an inspiring group that will offer interesting Role Plays to everyone, and that will interact with as many groups and individuals as possible, my role here will be to motivate and inspire my people to engage in role plays by leading them there, so i can coach and builds a team, and make it more effective at achieving this goal.

IDEAS:Membership : Anybody can join ARC for that it does not have a certain IC requirement, the group will always make good use of it's new members through Roleplay, and will welcome them with open arms, show them around help them integrate the most fitting position in the group, and encourage them to interact with others groups and individuals. As for new players i always did show them around so they can join the RP properly. Now if i make this band i will be able to offer them even more help through roleplay. ARC Membership involves little glory, So ARC members are thus arguably humanity's finest and most sincere people not after money, glory or promotions, but truly committed to buying humanity a better tomorrow, whatever the cost may be.
