Brianna was honestly the most plain girl in the entire world. From the age of 5, Brianna skitted her way through school, hiding under the radar, never really excelling in anything. She maintained average grades, had average looks, and was just overall the deinition of forgettabe.
When she graduated from high school and transferred up to Washington States University, she promised herself she would finaly be seen. She went out and found a whole new wardrobe, trading in her loose cardigans for tight fitting v-necks, and her old worn comfy sweats for designers skinny jeans. She thought this was the remedy, that with a few perfectly planned outfits, and a couple hours a day spent on her hair and makeup, shed finally be able to live the life she wanted, and this happened for her- almost
One early morning in her Enligh Lit class, she felt a small tap on her shoulder, turning aorund there was the boy she had been drooling over since the beginning of the sememester. Wondering why in the world he was addressing her, she listened to him. he was inviting her to a party.
Now college parties arent exactly the most romantic places for a date, being the loud music, vommiting girls, and the smell of stale weed, but a date was a date, and there was no way she was missing out. She spent that entire night trying on outfit after outfit until she finally found one that made her, feel- well.. above average.
But when she got arrived to the party she instantly knew something was wrong. The people hovering with their red solo cups were dead silent, some were laying up against the walls and others were cowering under bedside tables and kitchen sinks, she walked on down the hallway, figuring it was just a silly fight, until on the floor she saw it. Her date was crouched over some random girl in a pink tubetop and a pair of white capris, instantly she was heartbroken, she went to call his name, but when she let it escape her lips, the boy made a low grumbling noise she would never forget, his head turned and on his face had the most disgustoing deformities: his mouth was covered in a thick coating of fresh blood, and his once tanned skin was completely pale, before she could say anything, he lunged at her.
She ran out the house pushing past the crowds of unconcious college students and never looked back. With her strong inclamtion for the need to survive, Brianna pushed on through the night, running as far away from civiliaztion as she could. most would be upset. she wasnt, most would be afraid, she wasnt really that either. Brianna was indeed a survivor, infortunate in nature, but one nonetheless.
