Coach's Pub
By Mishi Rossini

TYPE:  Official Business

OVERVIEW: From an IC standpoint this would be a natural progression for my character since he has been the pub's manager for several months now. The pub's core will of course always remain as being the place people go to for clean water and moonshine, but I would develop the social side of things. Make it a place people come to for company as well as drinks. I'd do this with events, but also by adding features that people might like to regularly check in on. The pub has had a clipboard to be used for trading between players, but it didn't really get noticed. I'd like to make more of this idea with a much more obvious chalkboard. Encourage all kinds of players to use the pub to conduct trade with each other as well as with the pub itself. Linked into the above is the procurement of supplies for the pub. It would buy ingredients for moonshine as well as fuel for the generator and perhaps hunted meat (to offer meals - booze and a burger!). Services/products offered would depend on the supplies successfully brought in. This would mean tasking staff with getting supplies as well as just tending the pub. As for events, I would link the Fight Club events with the pub when I do more, and involve pub staff accordingly. I would also host "open mic" nights, where players can have the chance of an audience for things such as music, poetry, comedy, even statements/debate. I would also look into games like darts to increase the social aspect of the pub. Maybe card games or even a pool table. The existing tables are rarely used and therefore aren't really an effective use of space.

EXPERIENCE:I have leadership experience in RP sims as well as in Outbreak. In Outbreak I have reformed the Arklay Rebels and we have been successful in recruiting players as well as creating RP with a larger scale story arc planned. I also put on the Fight Club, which was successful, and plan to do more. In the absence of Coach's Pub's lead I have effectively been running the business as its manager for the last couple of months. Recruiting new staff and getting them settled in, answering questions, participating in stories affecting the pub as a whole, fueling the generator etc.

it's a crazy, dangerous world out there. It also holds beauty beyond compare... don't dream it, live it, if you dare...
