OVERVIEW: I’d like to see the Doll House become a location anyone can feel comfortable in, no matter their allegiances, beliefs, orientation, age, nor gender (unless of course, you happen to be a zombie, but then you wouldn’t be reading this now would you). The Doll House is a professional business first and foremost, and as such my goal is to bring it back into that light. Perhaps a fresh coat of paint that isn’t pink would be a good step, but I’d also like to start further advertising all the services the Doll House can provide. Most people know it as the place to get a bath or simply as ‘the whore house’, while those are not wrong, the Doll House is so much more than that, and I’d strive to bring the shop out of its isolation upon the hill and into circulation with the other business in town with a sort of give-and-take mentality. For the things the other business cannot provide, the Doll House will take care of it and vice-versa – referrals are powerful things! For instance, replacing the ‘free bath Sunday’ with ‘complimentary bath for every purchase’ would better suit the Doll House in the long run by offering what many would consider a basic right for free, but while also including revenue coming in for the shop. If people want JUST the bath, then the cost for one is cheaper than that of food in most locations, and a bath can last for a good week, give or take blood and/or zombie guts. Events would mostly include themed parties relevant to the time of year or to various activities on sim. I’d work with other business owners to make sure no events overlapped, so everyone can enjoy varied rp and not have to choose between one event or the other. Mostly there would be bi-weekly mini events advertising half off of specific services. All new and existing employees will be able to stay indefinitely in the converted back room upon its completion. They will be provided with beds, a safe and warm space to stay during the nights, free baths and use of all the services the Doll House provides (within reason), and they will be treated as family. Brett has been working at the Doll House since a week after his arrival in the town and has gone through a lot during the time he has been with them. His loyalty to the shop has not wavered even under the stress of multiple attacks, threats and life-or-death situations he and his co-workers have had to face. He is one of the more senior members of the crew, in both hours spent and age, he knows the ins and outs of the Doll House and will endeavor to learn from the past to better the reputation of the shop as a whole. While he does joke around a lot to lighten the mood, he is always respectful to both his co-workers and customers alike, making sure to keep to himself unless asked otherwise.

EXPERIENCE:As a player and long time-rper (on SL I’ve been rping since early ’08, otherwise I’ve been rping in forum based settings since ’02), I feel I know what people want when it comes to things they can get their characters in to, and I’d take into account any requests sent my way. I want to be able to give people starting points to bounce their characters off of in order for them to find their own storylines and to build them character as a person, to see them grow. I’ve made too many characters to count (upwards of 50+), and I could help those having trouble fleshing out their own OC find their character’s ‘voice’ so to speak, and the Doll House is a comfortable location from which to do so.
