KalisaidDrank water or ate some meat that got you sick? There's been a bunch of people coming down to the hospital wanting to buy a bulk supply of antibiotics to get rid of the HUD sickness. They are buying for themselves, or buying for a "friend" who is sick. Here is the thing, the whole point of the sickness is to roleplay being sick. The HUD tells you that you have cholera or dysentery or whatever it is that you have, but unless your avatar is medically trained, and even then, you wouldn't know IC'ly what it is you have. You can look up the symptoms for whatever it is you have and rp them out, but you wouldn't really know--and IC'ly, you wouldn't really know that you need antibiotics. So... you would go to the hospital to get diagnosed and treatment. You might not get well from one treatment either, you might have to be admitted and have another dose. The other thing? IC'ly we don't have an unlimited supply of antibiotics. They have to be scavenged or produced. Hospital staff should be guarding medication like it was gold, and only giving it out when someone really needs it. Expecting to walk in to the hospital and dish out cash and walk out with a few dozen bottles of pills is unrealistic. Remember... ROLEPLAY 🙂 Kali |
