[CHILDHOOD]
Shaun had a relatively normal life growing up, or..at least he did when considering that he was an American boy. At a young age his parents were separated and he was left to reside with his Father while never really getting to know his Mom. There was one point where the boys Mother did come back into play, but the woman was murdered not too long after -- leaving both Shaun and his sister to live with their Father.
Of course, that would not be all bad if their father was at least a decent person..but no. A 'decent person' may just be one of the furthest things that could be used to describe that particular individual, considering that the two children were being fathered by a marine-turned-crime boss, they were destined to follow in his footsteps..and that is precisely what happened as time went on.
Throughout the early years of his life, Shaun was getting into all sorts of different trouble around every corner, only to finally result in the young male becoming a mirror image of his Father into adulthood. Sure, there were some things that Shaun had inherited which would likely benefit him such as wisdom beyond his years and a working knowledge of how precisely organized crime rings operate in addition to multiple martial art disciplines with thanks to his Fathers' lessons. Though when putting the fact into consideration that he was too young when being thrown into such encounters, this merely brought forth a wave of mental disorders coming from the now-grown man.
Now eighteen years of age, Shaun looks at relationships as a liability, he has no remorse when physically assaulting anyone that wrongs him (or doing what he considers to be a mis-step), and to top the cake..he thinks that he's just unstoppable. Though the last bit may just be a result of his Father appointing him the 'heir' to the family business. Despite all of this, the young man who many had dubbed with the nickname 'Mini-Weaver' does have a conscience..or something similar to one; which only comes into play when his family is put in harms' way, as was shown when he mercilessly gunned down a man that appeared to be assaulting his sister. Afterwards, the Weavers' vacated the town and resided within their private estate for a few more months.

[POST-APOCALYPSE]
Since the Weavers' were all well-connected with the military, politics, and crime rings alike, contacting outsiders for assistance was a breeze. The only thing that brought on troubled times for them was when their connections struggled to fight past the undead to reach the Weaver mansion, set back in the neck of the woods. Once word got out to the small family that they were going to have to fight their way out from the estate themselves, they wasted no time in breaking open the gun cabinet to arm themselves for what was going to be renowned for years to the Weaver family as the biggest fight of their lives.
During their little escapade through the thick woods, the youngest of Shaun's two sisters fell victim to a undead when she stumbled over a log and suffered a bite to her thigh. Little was known about the rabid humans at this point, so both of the Weaver men hoisted up the injured family member of theirs and continued to fight through the woods until eventually they made it through and met up with the PMC who in turn, escorted the Weavers' to a nearby reserve to live out the rest of their days.
Several days passed and there were minimal occurrences in their lives, with them having been given prime security by the PMC with thanks to their political status achieved prior to all of the happenings. At this point, they thought all was well and this was just something for them to wait out; like a thunder cloud passing over their clouds..but that wasn't the case, and they quickly learned that when Joelle (the bitten sister) finally succumbed to her sickness that she had been suffering from ever since that bite, and rose back up as one of the creatures that they all had to fight off inside of the forest. It was hard to do, but Shaun took it upon himself to put down the shell of his sister when she attempted to attack him in the midst of the night. The PMC caught onto what all had transpired, and cast out Shaun and his Father from their 'prime' status, as a result of the danger they posed to everyone. Now, Shaun only had his Father -- and his sister lurking around somewhere, hopefully. There was no longer additional assistance from the military, and money was bound to hardly do them any good at this point.
For the first time in Shaun's life, he was having to live in a world where his money did him no good; where he didn't have the upper hand.
