We did another segment of Pre-RP before the Sim starts! Thought I'd share a small excerpt from this scene that might get you even more excited for Outbreak to come out!

[17:38] Cole Vond trudged forward a few, setting his sights across the area. Corpses, half chewed flesh, intestines sprayed across the area. Placing the whole scene under a poorly scruffy red painting, slashed all over the place. His eyes continued to scout left and right as he took in the scene as the stench seeked through his mask. No mask could purge that smell, he turned his head away lightly, it soaked into his mask and down his lungs as he exhaled shakily. He knew if this was the case, the world could be just like this scene. His hand tightened around the blade as he turned his head back slowly, he placed his boot forward as he moved into the scene slowly. The horror descended upon his eyes, showering them in an unforgettable sight. Two corpses neatly laced upon each other, but one was different. More decayed than the one it was laying upon. Movement, it's left leg twitched as grit crumpled under Cole's boot. It awkwardly shuffled it's foot underneath itself, staggering onto it's feet before it grumbled. Releasing a growl in the back of its throat as it turned to face the noise, it's torn apart cheek shadowing the remainder of it's teeth, half nestled into it's lower jaw before it began to move. The body beneath, remains of a stomach, viciously torn apart to expose the bones. It twisted, shambling it's husk of a body towards Cole. He inhaled, and exhaled, twisting his fingers tighter onto the handle of the blade as he stepped forward once again. He continued to move, Cole waiting, assessing to see if any remainder of human remained in that corpse, finally his decision came to him. He pushed forward, driving his left hand forward, and his right hand back, grasping the biter by the neck to stop it's approach before ramming the knife deep into its skull. The knife tore through the flesh and bone before sawing through it's brain. It seemed to lull to the force of the blade eventually hanging by it before Cole ripped it free before pushing it to the floor. "...We make this quick." He said, huffing out a hard breath as he turned to look at the group.

[17:43] Avery McAdams stepped over the pieces of people, slippery blood covering the bridge as the rain washed some away. She walks across the bridge following group. Hands placed on Amy's shoulder. The rain pouring down over them, wetting her hair as they pushed on. Her alertness was on full force, watching and listening to anything around, the slightest movement or sound would get her attention. Boots stepped through puddles forming from the rain, hitting her skin and sliding off. A few days prior Avery was scared shit-less of what was happening, but after living through this for days now. She was beginning to think this was life now, her sisters was the only thing left and she wanted to protect them in any way she could. As they rounded the corner, the bodies laying everywhere, Avery's hand falls down to her knife hooked onto her belt. Fingers wrap around the handle, ready for anything that may come her way. Cause screw those Zombies. AVery's blue hues gaze at Cole as the walker came towards him, she froze. Okay maybe she wasn't quite ready for all this yet, maybe when the time came she could act, but right now she was frozen. It felt like forever past until the walker laid dead, still on the ground from the hands of Cole. She nodded hearing him speak, boots pacing her along, pushing Amy along as well as her player had went to make Mac and cheese and gave this player full permission to NPC her for now.

[17:45] Myrelia Laurino (casiopia.twischer) jolted a bit when Aria came close, and quickly wiped at her eyes to try and rid herself of the tears. Thankfully it was raining, so she could just blame it on that, right? "Ok.. so.." She cleared her throat when her voice cracked, and moved away from the group, trembling a bit as she turned her back on the gruesome scene to face them. "We gotta find the survivors. They have to be here.. Please help?" She pleaded with them, but turned around quickly when the undead started to realize they were there. Fuck. Nis' comfort, combined with Aria's, was very well received, and Myra looked appreciatively to them. "Thank you.. yes.. Yeah, let's.. let's uhm.. get supplies.. and.. whoever's still.. actually living.." She swallowed hard with that, and glanced back over to the carnage of what once was their clinic, and a lot of her coworkers, and many fallen military men and women. She spotted the zombie coming towards them, and let out a little panic cry as she shuffled back, and sought to grasp onto anyone who was near. "Oh my God!" She cried out when Cole moved forward, and promptly ended the monster's life. Heaving a little, she lurched forward, bent slightly and gasping for the breath that had been sucked out of her. "Ohmygod.." She uttered again, much quicker now. "Ok... ok.." More speaking to gather her senses than anything. "Right.. let's do this.. And everyone be safe! Grab what and who we can, then hurry back!"

[17:55] Bianca Sanchez (emmasheerin) nodded her head to Myra a few times as she rubbed her back, "Of course we'll help.." her voice was soft and as kind as hers could get, at least until the things began to become aware of their presence.. Great... The woman's eyes widened as Myra cried out, "Be quiet!" she hissed at her as she grabbed onto her, "You can't be too loud, you have to be quiet.." she shook her head a few times before patting her back once more. Her eyes glanced towards Cole as he ended the thing's life, giving him a little head nod before she began to move out to intercept a zombie crawling towards them, headed in the direction of Amy. These zombies sure loved Amy. Clutching onto those scissors of hers, she inched towards it, once close enough bringing her right foot up just a little, wobbling a bit as she did so before with full force she stomped her foot right down onto it's head, smashing its brain in with her boot, getting blood and brains all over it. After she did so, the woman shook off her shoe a few times, before staring at the creature she just killed… It was for her sisters. For her sisters.

[17:58] Nisyla watches Cole go for the biter with a watchful unblinking stare, knife tight in her hand, ready to spring in to help if needed - but she's not, the creature quickly taken down by the man, Nisyla's eyes trailing the hulking mass as it sinks back down to the ground. She's grasped by Myrelia due to the short distance between them, but Nisyla's offers of comfort are few and far between, any motherly tendencies extremely rare. She attempts to push the heaving woman further away, dirty boots tracking over to the fallen corpse with a blank stare. She lifts a foot and kicks towards the creature's head, first softly to check if it's got any fight left, and then hard - which would send that limb through the rotten temple with a sickening noise. The blonde, however, seems unaffected. "Brain works." With that she'd retrieve the now bloody boot from the thing's skull, stepping back to glance over to the littered area, scanning for survivors or remaining creatures. "Don't get bit, ai'ght?" It's not aimed to anyone, just the group. The second one's smashed skull prompts a glance from Nisyla, eyes traveling up to Aria with a nod of confirmation as the young woman shakes off gray matter from her shoe. With this she'd start off on her own way, pocket knife held tight in her hand.

Hope you enjoyed the read!
