OVERVIEW: What is the core of a thriving settlement? Well ... there's booze of course ... that could give some common ground to bring people together. But who's going to provide the cornmeal, sugar, and yeast to make that loverly moonshine? That is where the ATC comes in. Need to make repairs on your pad? Need guns that you can't find in a dumpster? Need ammo? Fish? You name it .. it has got to come from somewhere and let's face it it is a damn scary world out there now adays! That is where the Trading Co. comes in. I'm looking to build a band of misfits who come from all walks of life and like to live on the edge. The edge of safety ... and perhaps the edge of sanity sometimes. We'll be the ones who like the security of a town on an island, but also like a bit of the adrenaline rush that comes with tempting fate and going out where all others do not dare to go. I propose a group that provides resources and necessities to the town and helps it continue to grow and thrive. The roleplay will be accessible both by visits to the ATC location, but also by visits to the respective business's taking scavenging run orders, selling, bartering, and generally having a good ol' time. As for the inner workings of the business itself, I would like to keep up a bi-weekly scavenging run, more frequently if there is demand for it. If staffing for the trading co is low, I might even offer temporary positions in the scavenging crew to other people from other businesses to go along for the runs to help drive some rp throughout the Town rather than hogging it all myself. I would also like to be a little more proactive with offering new arrivals to the business, a bit more to do on a roleplay basis around the building. Even if just by way of a notecard giving some basic tasks to fuel their roleplay, but I also intend to be on Sim at least a couple hours per day, 4-6 days out of the week. There is something to be said about IC sim activities too though. Anyone hungry for an old fashioned clam bake? How about a fishing party? Or just a simple day at the beach with drinks and food provided? As lead of the ATC, but more importantly as someone who loves roleplay, I would like to do my level best to drive Roleplay not just within my own group, but also to rally interest and provide a break from the daily routine every now and again with the occasional IC party down on the shoreline right near the Trading co. Nothing like bringing the community together both OOCly and ICly! I would like to build relationships between the other group leads both ICly and OOCly. Does the general store need more supplies? Just give me a list and I'll have the crew get right on that! Or better yet, if there's an opening, send one of your own crew along with us to keep tabs on the shipment! Do the Eights need more metal sheeting for the roof repairs? *waves a hand* Here we are just for you! Basically, every single business on the island can benefit from an active ATC. And that is what I am going to be trying to develop and promote. Ellie Rosen is something of a free spirit. She herself comes from a background of role play and the sort of community that such a pastime can bring. ((Roleplay Inception!! -- Oh wait ... that's been way overused!)) Since coming to town a couple of weeks ago, she has thrown herself into the role she has adopted as her "armor" in this frightening world of zombies and worse. And now it seems, she might have to take on an even bigger and more upfront role than she'd originally planned. Never fear! Elise Damodred is here! For all her tough play acting, Ellie is just seeking a place to make a home and a community she can count on. This might just be the reason she is great for this role. She is persistent and at least outwardly fearless in the face of surmounting odds and is just trying to make the best out of a difficult situation ... and if she can profit a little from it that's good too!

EXPERIENCE:I am a very creative person. Writing things for other people enjoy has been a passion of mine for a very very long time. I am generally quite patient and like to resolve issues as best as possible to the satisfaction of all involved. ((Both Icly and Oocly)) As for experience, I have roleplayed on burgeoning Sims before. I even ran an IC business at one point in time a couple of years ago. RL pulled me away for a while, but things have settled down a bit and now I would like to devote some time to a creative opportunity like this.
