Please read the following proposal on permitting child avatars within Outbreak and send us your feedback! This proposal is not yet a rule and not in effect within Outbreak at this time.

A child avatar is a character between the ages of 0 - 17. Upon a child character turning 18, it is considered to be an adult. Child avatars are permitted in Outbreak, but they must ALWAYS be in the escort of an adult avatar. Child avatars will not be permitted to freely roam around the Outbreak sim on their own.

A child friendly zone will be established. Within this zone, child avatars may run free without the escort of an adult avatar. The build for this zone is undergoing conceptual development, but may be a tree house, a fenced in playground, or some other protected building. Adult avatars may enter the child friendly zone, but must adhere to the non-violent, non-sexual rules of the area.

Child avatars must NEVER take part in any sexual situations. Child avatars must be fully clothed at all times. Violation of these two rules will result in an immediate ban. Child avatars are prohibited from entering the Dollhouse and any other establishments with sexual themes or nudity. In the event where nudity or sex is presented in a scene, the child avatar must immediately leave

Child avatars of 13+ in age may use the HUD and work in businesses (with exception of the Dollhouse and other businesses with sexual or nude themes); child avatars younger than that may not use the HUD nor work in businesses. Child avatars MAY NOT join Factions. (We've noticed factions to be pretty violent, sexy and very adult oriented at times.)
