syn wytchwoodsaidBy Lilalessa Resident & ShortstuffMcgee Resident TYPE: Store/Messenger Outlet OVERVIEW: We know the s-mart trades things like hardware and such, but we were considering maybe another store with like everyday things people would find on supply runs and such. Pens, paper/notebooks, even nail polish (for those who don't want to buy a full on manicure at the dollhouse, they can rp buying a single bottle of polish). It could include things like film canisters for storage of food portions and such. More trivial things like that which are useful for their own reasons, but wouldn't be found or carried in the hardware store. We can think up a list of example items to buy/resell in the store and have a list with current prices kept in the store as well. It would be mostly role-play based since there's obviously nothing on the hud for these things, so it would essentially be Nova and Stella paying out of our hud cash similarly to how levy does for when people rp bringing in firewood and then we rp selling the items as well. Also, since Stella and Nova are both neutral characters when it comes to faction animosities, we could do something similar to a messenger type-ordeal. One where customers could pay for us to deliver messages to other people on sim who may not be on at the same times as them for role-plays. For example, if Dale needed something delivered to Maze at the hospital, she could come to TCS and pay us to deliver her message or product to the hospital rather than having to do so herself. It would not only generate more potential role-plays by doing this, but it also would make sense since there obviously wouldn't be any postal service to deliver letters/goods to people in the apocalypse. We'd like to even one day expand this business to including the ability to sell clothing to plays as well, but as that's a ways off (as Stella and I discussed with Dale), that can always be an end-goal expansion for the shop. EXPERIENCE:We see this particular business as a mans to generate more role-plays and communication among players on sim. The messenger aspect of it would help character developments for everyone since you would still be able to develop your stories with other characters even if you aren't both online to role-play furthering your stories for a few days. We all have demons, I just choose to embrace mine. |
