OVERVIEW: The first steps would be to obtain equipment and temporary (or permanent) technical help in setting up a low-power FM station in the old radio tower engineering building. This is not going to be flicking a switch, but a somewhat involved role-play acquiring items. Once functional, broadcasts of community interest would be mixed with music. The facility would be barricaded but accessible to community leaders. Much like radio of old, there will be official oversight, not always ending well, but generally amenable to the greater good.

EXPERIENCE: I was a public relations executive familiar with the ins and outs of radio, television, print and new media. I also was the lead publisher of a national chemical magazine, and have basic newspaper experience, should the project expand to print coverage.
