OVERVIEW: BACKGROUND: There isn't a great deal of history associated with this little business. Just a few survivors that got together and figured out that they had a pretty useful skill set. There is a need for an alternative to the pharmaceuticals that the hospital can provide, supplies that are running out. Melaundra was raised in a culture in which going to the hospital was not something that one does so she learned at the feet of her grandmother and mother how to use natural remedies to heal most ailments. Amongst these herbal learning are such things as making soaps, teas and even candles. Tryg likewise learned at the feet of his grandmother how to make numerous wines and has seen a decided need on the island for this particular skill. The intention is to supply the local bar with his wines while Mel offers herbs and healing to the locals. Trey is the resident handyman and is their Mister Fix-it and their security. He also happens to know a bit about marijuana and this also seems to be a hot commodity on the island. (This is not an advertised product to help minimize threat of break ins) His learning in herbs (of the not marijuana variety) came while he was growing up in New Orleans. The culture in which he was raised relies heavily upon natural herbs and some not so natural things to create their various charms and remedies. The dynamic trio will be working together and in theory fostering a safe, relaxed environment for others to come and rp in. We've also turned our eye towards being able to trade with the other local businesses. Such as wine to Coaches. Herbs and soaps for baths to the DollHouse. Surely the folks that are preparing food could use a few fresh herbs for their cooking or teas to serve. They've also thought a great deal about sustainability. Resources on the island are finite. So they will be planting in the forest once their own plants begin to produce seed. A bee keeping box has been set up for the honey and the wax for candles. This will help to ensure that the bees are not exploited too heavily and will help in pollination of their own flowering plants.

EXPERIENCE:EXPERIENCE: Between the three of us we have led groups in SL, moderated groups in other web based forums, run games in other web based forums and are in general decently skilled in dealing with others. We've each a great deal of experience in rp and have a general love of the story. As such the three of us have sat down and talked at length about what we hope to accomplish with this little venture of ours and the overriding goal seems to be the same. Foster rp amongst the various groups. Offer an alternative healing location. And help to ensure some sense of normalcy remains in the days to come as normalcy becomes harder and harder to find.
