The idea behind Story Progress is to reinforce the fact that RP on the island is about creating stories and to also represent the growth of a character.

The way you recover from sickness, rest rate, contracting illnesses, strength, to accuracy when using firearms is silently tracked. To avoid players from getting too caught up into stats, but at the same time showing progress, we have the concept of "pages" which also is impacted by writing (ie. journals, forum participation, etc.). The longer your page count, the more resilient your character becomes to the dangers of surviving after the Outbreak.

Due to technical issues (mainly because I didn't track these as individual transactions before), scavenging, weeks worked, trades, and hunts will begin at the start of this new release.
