Tinashe Rowland was born in Martinique, France and raised in the Central Texas Hill Country - specifically Austin - where she attended and graduated from The University of Texas (Social Psychology with the goal of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor).

As she was dedicated and hard-working all was right in her world, the challenges she faced and hardships she suffered weren't out of the ordinary for a young woman trying to make it on her own.

Her worries went from her keeping her head above water financially to staying alive overnight - not due to the infected but other survivors, namely her family and friends.

Armed with only her wits and what she could fit in an old backpack Tinashe hit the road and never looked back.
