OVERVIEW: An alternative or solution to the minimal supply of medicines now lacking with the fall pharmaceutical companies. Weeds could provide herbal remedies or alternative treatments to the ailments we find ourselves unable to treat like we used to. There is no local grocery store to pick up bug repellent, soaps, vitamins, oils, toothpaste or something for that tummy ache you cant get rid of eating scavenged food. There is no place to go find those obscure things you don't want to run to the doctor for, perhaps an herbal birth control or just something for that 'rash' or something for an 'intimate' moment. The options are endless. Engaging with the community could be everything from providing services to the local hospital, Dollhouse procuring things they need but may not have time to make or scavenge for themselves while treating their onslaught of patients/customers. Even spices could be obtained for the diner to add to their recipes. Hiring other individuals in the community that have the desire to grow their own herbs, hunt and forage for supplies on runs needed to make that obscure treatment. Perhaps teach people how to survive a bit more fruitfully on what nature provides not just the dumpster. There is even the spin for the less then honest to procure poisons or less than upstanding items. Weeds would need to or could utilize already exiting commodities as well, moonshine, joints, pills, water, fruit and veggies to take in trade and or create items which opens up more trade options for maybe some lesser used items. But to put it simply every age has had their form of a pharmacy/apothecary/witch doctor you name it. We are now in and age that is pushing us back to basics of survival in every way and we still get headaches.

EXPERIENCE: I have a great deal of knowledge in real life outdoor survival, plant and animal sciences. I enjoy teaching people and sharing what I know. I think such an opportunity may add just one more element to OB and or something for people to do. Id like to help people create things that can add that little extra detail to their rp, or funny little twist or sinister plot. Perhaps give opportunity to the people living in the fringe, a reason to bring things they grow into the city or get people from the city out into the fringe to communicate with ones in the fringe.
