Group Leads, Managers, and employees!
What does this all mean?

A Group Lead, whether as an official sim Business Location (Coach’s, Sam ‘N Ella’s, The ATC, The Hospital, The Hardware Store), or a personal business or group, is in charge of that group  OOC’ly and IC’ly.
OOC’ly they can:

Organize events

Lead in on story lines

Promote RP with other groups

Help new group members find their footing within the group
They cannot OOC’ly eject members from a group, or decide who works there or not.  Everyone is allowed to work IC’ly where they wish--it’s why the inviters are open.

IC’ly, it’s a bit of a different story, since IC’ly they are the ‘business owner’ or ‘manager’.  They can appoint managers to help them out, assign tasks to employees, institute policies--like dress codes or IC rules for the place.  For example, the Lead Doctor or Manager at the hospital can make it a policy that employees must wear scrubs/uniform and sensible shoes.  The owner/manager at the Diner can make it a policy that their employees wash their hands frequently.
That said, if an employee--IC’ly, doesn’t follow the IC rules, or behaves in a manner that is disruptive to the workplace, the “business owner” or “manager” are well within their rights to suspend, fire, send home for the day, etc that employee.  This does not mean that the player is kicked from the group, or that the character can’t come back and make amends IC’ly and ask for their job back, it just means their RP at that venue may be temporarily halted until the in-character issue is resolved.

Please seek IC resolution to IC conflicts.  Should any OOC issues result from this IC “firing” or “suspension” and you feel it has been abused, please submit an abuse report so an admin can investigate.  

Group Leads - IC “firing” should only also occur as a last resort.   If you have a conflict with a player that you cannot resolve, please seek admin moderation or submit an abuse report so an admin can investigate
