Z-nochrome (if logical in this established universe) would be an effective combination of both a psychoactive and methamphetamine effect.

The substance is harvested from the adrenal glands of the dead. Through a strict chemical process it is then turned into a drug that can be injected, snorted, used in a tincture or smoked when sprinkled on other substances.  The purpose of the chemical process is to limit who is able to produce said commodity.

This chemical can become just as addictive as any other mind and body altering drug and death is possible from overdose.  Infection is also possible from large doses.   Continued injection of the drug into one area of the body can also result in necrotic flesh and tissues.
