Nobody seems to mind that I made myself the owner of the hardware store. I’m calling it Billy Brady’s, like back home. Only problem is that apparently if you run a business here you have to be part of the council. I think a council’s a good idea but I’m not exactly qualified. Still, I said I’d do it if I absolutely have to. I do have the town’s best interests at heart.

Sales going well, though understaffed. Weather holding out. No complaints.
