Ellinor had spent most of her time at the ATC cleaning up a few bodies from the horde that blew through after the storm. She dragged most of the bodies to a pile but.. in all honesty.. a couple made their fat heavy, or otherwise disgusting, frames off the deck into the water. “Ain’t no one got time for that.”
When she heard Chloe’s voice her heart jumped.. and she quickly kicked a body into the water for the sake of going to meet with her. Conrad didn’t much care for either Chloe or Ellinor at this point. Apparently Chloe had been there during the worst parts of the storm only to be run off by the horde that came after.. only just now making it back and looking for Ellinor once again. Apparently she didn’t make too good of an impression on Conrad, as she refused to give up her weapons.
Fucking Conrad was getting to suspicious and being way to guarded at this point. After a short visit and some business with Chloe, Ellinor watched her leave and turned to Conrad.
“You keep this shit up, Connie, We’re going to have some real problems here.” She warned him.
“Try me bitch.” He growled as he crossed his arms. He wouldn’t be able to see Ellinor narrow her eyes at him thanks to her aviators. However that unsettling grin crept across her face.
“Just do your damn job and let me do mine.” She turned and headed back into the building. She went through the gate, tidied up the place a bit more then sat down to write a letter to Abel.
“Hey Hound dog,
What the hell man? Gates were open, things seemed to have been tussled around a bit in here. You sell some ammo recently? We’re short a few clips. I cleaned up, escorted some zeds out to a pile for burning and locked the gate. Sold a couple cans of food, too. I owe ya what? 100 from that I think.
I’ll catch up with you later about that. Keep an eye out on Conrad. Does he ever move from the one spot? He should probably be circling the building. More entry points than one after all. Keeps giving me the stink eye, too.. Think you can smooth things over with him for me? I mean if we gotta work together, least he could do is trust me to do my job here. Right?
Oh! Also, a sweet guy might be come’n down to join us at the ATC from the eights. He looks pretty capable and I am kind of sweet on him after he helped me out with a injury. His name is Phillip, maybe see where he would fit in?

She folded paper up and wrapped it in a small plastick bag before setting it on the counter. A soft gust of wind knocked it to the floor so she picked it up and took a knife from her pocket. After nailing it to the counter with the knife she smiled. “Stay… good boy.” She then wrote “Heads up, Boss man.” On the filthy plastic.
She paused for a moment looking around the somewhat organized and clean building before making her way out, locking the gate behind her. She didn’t give Conrad a sideways glance as she passed by. Disappearing into the night from his point of view of course.
She made her way up the stairs to the door of their place, quietly turned the key and then the knob.. only to find Chloe had passed out on the bed. Barely a creek of the door was made as she opened and closed it. However, when she moved the chair to place it in front of the door, Chloe awoke with a start.
“Shit, sorry.. go back to sleep, Bae.” She whispered quietly. Ellinor noted the stuffed toy on the counter had been moved slightly and smiled. She slipped into the chair carefully to watch as Chloe situate herself and drift back off to sleep.. Ellinor followed her shortly after. Damn that chair was comfortable.
