I arrived at the Island one week ago and what might have been a nice tourist town before is now clearly a hell hole but then again so is the whole world after the Outbreak that occurred  709 days ago.  It is hard to imagine much less remember that just 710 days ago life was normal.

It is Thanksgiving week and instead of planning a family dinner and spending time with them we are left with the horror of surviving through hell. Instead of Turkey and Dressing it is scrap meat and dodging the infected which seems to be growing daily.  There was a time I would be duck hunting this week preparing for that Thanksgiving Dinner yet now I find myself hunting the undead and gathering supplies for the group I have joined.
