Soldier’s Log: Entry 3, Day 1. 16:00 Hours….

i have made it into the town and have been exploring for hours. there are survivors here but most seem afraid or hostile. i tried to avoid most. still quite a few walkers…. Poor souls…. they never stood a chance…..

i have seen some almost as equipped with gear as me. some even more equipped as i am! so i guess that’s somewhat good.

i was looking around an old run-down school house when i was approached by a government issue SUV. it was covered in mud blood and bullet holes… a bit of action around here i guess. aa man stepped out after opening his door. the logo on the door seemed like a black emblem with Aks and a skull. seems someone likes AK platform rifles. Like ME!!!

the man seemed to be that of an Operator just like me! he seemed nice for an American. Me being Soviet Russian….

they gave me food water and shelter and let me use my Encryption on their radio to see if i can call for my Squad. i called to no avail….  the man did lend me a shotgun. short. sawen off it seemed. but it does the job. i should return it to him later. i did manage to find an unloaded USP-40 with one magazine. too damaged for use. ill have to find more…. hopefully there is a trade post close by with decent gear, Anyway….

I helped them with some tasks and they gave me about two bottles of water. i guess that’s enough for now…  i was offered a warm bed to stay in and a fire-heated hot shower! so thats a good start. they asked me to join their team. but I told them i would for now until i find my squad which they agreed to help me find them. maybe the guys would like to help too… dammit Grigori…….. why….. god Dammit WHY!!!!!!…….
