Soldier’s Log: Entry 1, Day 1. 03:00 Hours…

I have arrived here at Arklay Island with my Squad. John, Sergei, Dimitri, and Grigori.

Upon arrival, we searched the nearby mountains to see if there was any structures. we happened to come across a house or shack of some kind, only to find it was abandoned. we ventured inside.

What we found inside that shack was horrifying. blood everywhere. limbs and guts strewn all over the room…

We started to loot the place when one of them got Grigori! oh man… Grigori…. he was torn apart! i have never seen anything like that in my life!   i went to grab another walker off of Dimitri when i got grabbed from behind!

Luckily i escaped. if i hadn’t ditched my pack i would have been a goner… i have been separated from the others and i can’t go back… Not after seeing Grigori go out like that… ill have to venture further. hopefully there is a town nearby where i can get some help…
