I finally made it out of the city, but not all of us made it out. I woke up this morning feeling cold, and with the sinking feeling that I was alone. I could not believe I had left them behind. If only i had stayed with them. If only I had stayed to fight off the biters. God, why didn’t I stay with them. It’s all I can think about. I miss my family so much already. All i have left is my son’s teddy bear, and my wedding ring. It’s all i have to remember them now.
