Arklay? I don’t recall seeing this place on the map, but I’m tired and I can tell I wont be getting to a larger city anytime soon. Almost out of food and ammo, haven’t seen or heard an infected in the last four hours. That could be a good sign, or a bad one, if their all congregated into one area.

I have begun to write this journal for a few reasons, one is I found it on a dead body and it just seemed useful, maybe. The other is.. That I miss you Ellen and you too Gail, not a moment goes by that I don’t feel some sort of guilt. I should have been there for you both, maybe this journal will bring some closure and at the same time keep me close to you both… Well, looks like I’m gonna enter this place, Arklay, wish me luck.
