Hunter and I have been here on Arklay Island for a couple of days camped  on the edge of town.  We fortified the campsite as best we could and are taking turns sleeping to stay safe.  We need a safer place, but have learned to be patient and cautious when it comes to places where there are humans all living together.   I have to say, so far the folks in town have been pretty nice and some of them even helpful and generous, which has made us think we should start looking for a place with actually walls and a door.  I’m hoping I hear back on the application I put in to work at the shelter, before our money runs out.   So far, we are finding what we need.  I found a little ammo today and gave it to Hunter.  It maybe him smile.
