I met a girl today who calls herself Ghost. Her name is Dylan. Why do people give themselves nicknames? What would mine be?

Ghost/Dylan was nice and gave me a few tips on good places to hunt but there was another guy hunting too. She called him Beast. I didn’t like him. With a nickname like Beast, does he even wanna be liked?!
