I’m with dale here, ive taken in hundreds of shotgun shells. Since everybody loots them nobody ever comes into buy them. Basically we are throwing money out the door and getting something essentially worthless back. Sure…we don’t give a lot per box…but the sheer volume has meant tens of thousand of dollars out the door.
IC we have begun to…[Read more]

There have been some previous posts about hoarding HUD items.
I will be the first to admit i’m guilty of this. I’m sitting on about 350 shotgun shells right now. Nobody wants em so everybody sells em, (scavenging drop rate too high). While sorting through my inventory i realized the sheer amount of stuff i was “carrying” and thought to myself.…[Read more]

I would also like to point out this is very similar to the AEGIS faction which already exists on the island. Which is a group composed of former military personnel who provide training, protection and support for other factions and businesses, its a little redundant. Rather than try and set up a near identical faction why not join one that’s…[Read more]

Alright Xander…lemme see of the top of my head
PC/AES
1) Closer to a police/security force
2) As Paul said in his proposal the group “working closely with businesses to create help guide roleplay and events”
3) Is for all purposed a group of like minded civilians, i doubt there will be uniform or training policies/standards
4) Overwatch…[Read more]

Thanks for the clarification Kali
as stated in both the prooosal and my reply AEGIS has zero interest in serving any law enforcement. The only time we would ever act in that role would be at the request of the local LE authorities (PE, AES).
our focus is on offering high quality training. And working with businesses and individuals on the island…[Read more]

@Ben and Xandros, glad you think its well written
While there are 2 other security based groups on the island I believe that there are more than enough players who are looking for a police/military role that there is space for more groups. AES and the Phoenix Collective both seem to focus on the law enforcement side of things. AEGIS isn’t there…[Read more]

Just putting a possible idea out here…but why not add tanning and leather working to the list? Most pople on the island hunt for food, so i feel a lot of animal pelts get wasted. Maybe you could buy them off customers then turn them around into leather goods.

I think is would be fun,
i’m assuming HUD integration would be out of the question in terms of the fighting?
I see if working much better as an FFC fight

I like the idea. It would help us better coordinate and respond to large incidents like we had on the beach. Not sure if you can fold this in how but myself and my friend are part of security firm, you could perhaps hire the firm to assist with peace keeping.
Taxes….i filed 9 dependents so technically you owe me money after this quarter ; – p

Great work, wish we didn’t retreat before i even got to go inside the building. Another group will be going tomorrow (wednesday) afternoon. I will be providing security and guidance. Any chance we can see another freebie or two there or reset the dispensers?
