A way to help with some of these issues would be to put in place a system that I had back when I ran ATC. I was the only one that had the handgun /objects/, but people that worked at the trading company could sell them ICly, then just NC me the RP and I’d pass along the actual handgun object to the person when I was online next, and the employee…[Read more]
I’m not sure if it was pointed out, but ATC was supposed to be /everything/. Originally, it didn’t even really have guns. I brought them there, and I think it got carried over from that. It was supposed to be a one stop shop for anything and anyone. Personally, I’d love to see it returned to that.

I really do agree with everything Kali has posted. It seems like a lot of the factions and businesses are trying to become their own entity. They go on scavenge runs, repair their own stuff, grow their own food, some even have their own medics. It’s starting to sound like things like the trading company are becoming useless. The concept we’e all shared for this was to split the weapons between the trading company and the rebels. Both are long established groups that are part of the sim and are important to keep staffed and open for players to interact with. While I do love this idea, it seems to be pretty much exactly what Dixon’s does. It would be interesting to see the competition, maybe, nut I’m not entirely sure we need two of the exact same business. They do repairs to everything, I just found out.
I thought she already was the lead, haha.
I highly approve of this, though. Its nice to see a list of everything that y’all actually do there. I thought you only did car repairs and such, haha.
While I do like this idea, I have doubts about how logical it would actually be during the apocalypse. It can only be so long before they run out of sterile needle, I would assume.
Either way, it does sound pretty interesting. I’d like to see it implemented if enough people are interested.
