There’s a few ways we can install shortages by altering the frequency in which people may scavenge as well as success rate. There’s also something we’re looking into that may give new players a boost of success when attempting to interact with our features; “Beginner’s Luck” if you will. It’s something that’s being looked into.
Hello Jubal, the build for Outbreak is currently evolving. Over the course of the last several weeks, the face of Outbreak has changed. New buildings in a decayed state were added. The bridge finally collapsed. We will continue to see tweaks to the build and added features as Nadir implements changes.
We did have a freight ship crash onto the island somewhat recently! It did unleash a horde of zombies onto the island and survivors were able to push them back. I believe there’s a recorded YouTube video and maybe some flickr pictures of it somewhere.

If people are willing to NPC or PC as bandits, this can be done. I can even spawn some around sim. Wouldn’t use the HUD to push them back, but you would still be able to interact with them in a way.
A raid event could be built. It’d work pretty much like the salvage runs.
Linden Labs TOS does not prohibit violence against child avatars nor exposing them to graphic content. Being hurt, attacked, targeted, and kidnapped is not restricted by TOS.
